What can the tea sector learn from coffee?
On May 7th, VOCAL’s Global Coffee Lead, Ashlee Tuttleman, was invited by THIRST to share some insights into sustainability and collaborative efforts in the coffee sector.
The session touches on systems analysis, the role of mandatory versus voluntary actions, realities and limitations of multistakeholder initiatives, and the necessity of targeting core business practices like procurement in the movement towards delivering on sustainability and not just talking about it. In the session, participants discuss similarities and differences with the tea sector and what tea can learn from coffee’s experience.
